Bleeding Cool has it that Jeff Lemire’s Tales From The Farm will get the big screen treatment from X-men: First Class VFX supervisor John Dykstra. He will direct the tentatively titled, ‘Super Zero,’ based on a John Carr screenplay.

The film will be shot live action, but will, naturally, include heavy special effects sequences.

Both the comic and the film tell the story of an “orphaned 10-year-old who goes to live on a farm with his uncle. As their relationship grows strained, he befriends the town’s gas station owner, a former pro hockey player, and the pair escape into a private fantasy world of superheroes and alien invaders.”
