Nolan on board for Batman 3

Ok… everyone can now breath a sigh of relief. Christopher Nolan has announced that he’s officially back behind the camera for the forthcoming installment of his Batman movies. I just read the news here on Spinoff Online. After the disastrous Joel Schumacher Batman movies Nolan came on board to reboot the series with the wonderful Batman Begins and then upped the ante with 2008′s killer The Dark Knight.

“It’s becoming inevitable, I’ll put it that way,” he told Empire. “I feel myself falling into it, I guess. And getting it all figured out and I’m pretty excited about what we’re doing so. … If I haven’t announced it, I think that people probably all know at this point that I’m doing it.” Pressed as to whether it can be presumed he’s directing, Nolan said, “I think you can at this point, yes.”

Fantastic news. As nerds, we are all incredibly lucky to have a talent like Christopher Nolan bringing Batman’s adventures to the big screen.

David Tennant as The Riddler, please! And Paul Giamatti as The Ventriloquist.

The Ventriloquist would be a little out there for Nolan. There’s also been reports that the villain won’t be Mr Feeze so I’m quessing some easy to have reality based.

As for speculation, I’m goona reach out and say Mad Hatter. Something about a someone controlling people with narcotics seems like it would be cool. I’d cast Ian Holm.

The best rumor that I’ve heard so far is Joseph Gordon Levitt as the Riddle… which sounds pretty fantastic to me.
