Nightly Nothings: Gandalf returns and Ghostbusters 3?

We’re going to try something new here on Nerdy Nothings. My day job doesn’t allow me to post 9-5 as much as I’d like and I come across a bunch of worthy stories NN readers might enjoy. So instead of posting the little ones one at a time, I’ll aggregate them and post as many as i can once at night. This way you don’t have to bounce around the internet to a bunch of sites you can just come here and get your fill. Let’s do this:

Movie Nothings

• Sam Mendes to direct next 007, Daniel Craig confirmed to return.

• I really could have used these subtitles while watching True Grit.

• Andy Serkis and Sir Ian McKellan to reprise their roles from LOTR in The Hobbit.

• Charlize Theron to star in Ridley Scott’s Alien Prequels?

• Baz Luhrman is insane if he thinks shooting The Great Gatsby in 3D is a good idea.

• I am totally stoked for this reboot, Colin Farrell to star in Total Recall.

• Quentin Tarantino’s first film, My Best Friend’s Birthday, is very Tarantino-esque.

• Ivan Reitman spins more Ghostbusters 3 lies.

Comic Nothings

• Neil Gaiman goes yellow and hops on over to Springfield.

Take an early look at Spawn #200.

• Ross covers Action Comics #900.

Music Nothings

• Trent Reznor back to score for Fincher’s Dragon Tattoo after excellent work on The Social Network.

Trailer for Green Day’s live DVD Awesome as f**k.

• I was just thinking about this the other week… Strokes new album drops on March 22.

The newest trailer for Battle: Los Angeles.
