Costner’s Oil Vacuum

Kevin Costner

I’ve always liked Kevin Costner. He’s been in some terrible movies, but Field of Dreams alone keeps him in good standing. I can get behind the general premise of Waterworld, obviously a picture he took great care in creating, even if the final product is a little mucked up.

In the real world Costner and his bro teamed up in the 90s after the Exxon spill to create a machine that filters oil from water. It appears from this story the 26 million dollar experiment actually works and may be used to help suck up some of BP’s insane fuck-up.

Go Gardner!
