Hey nerds! If you listened to our last podcast (which BTW was really hilarious and fun) you’ll be familiar with the Nerdologues, a Chicago comedy show that features sketches and monologues about what it means to be a nerd in this crazy modern world. It’s a great, great show that I think speaks to everyone who reads this site.
But, to the point! After a successful run of shows at Second City, the Nerdologues are kicking back with a show dedicated to all of us nerds in the audience. Entitled “Your Stories,” the group invites any willing audience members to come up on stage and deliver a monologue about their experiences as a nerd, whether they’re funny, sad or a little bit of both. It’s a totally free show and a great time, and hey, I’ll be a part of it. In fact, I’ll be telling a Nerdy Nothings-specific story. Which one? Well, I won’t spoil it but it has to do with this review.
So… Chicago, what are you doing this Saturday? The Nerdologues Presents: Your Stories starts at 8:00 PM sharp at Studio 44, 1623 W. Montrose Avenue (basically where Montrose meets Ashland). Again, this is a FREE show with content partially generated from the audience, so come on down and be a part of a fun evening of nerdy bonding. If you print out my articles from the website, I’ll even sign them for you.
